Priests
Retreat:
The annual retreat
for the priests of the Diocese of Clogher will take
place from
Sunday 27th June
to Thursday 1st July in St. Macartan’s College.
Ordination
of Bishop-elect,
Rt Rev. Mgr Liam S. MacDaid:
The ordination
will take place in St. Macartan’s Cathedral on
Sunday 25th July at 3.00pm. A limited number of tickets
have boon allocated to each parish. If you would like
to attend ring the Parochial House (88120) and leave
you name. Since there is only an allocation of 10 tickets
for Donagh Parish, and if there are more than 10 people
interested in attending it will be necessary to put
the names of those interested in a hat and pull out
the ten who will represent the parish in the Cathedral
on the day. However it is envisaged that the ordination
of a new Bishop in the Diocese should have an impact
at parish level. Resource material on the role of the
bishop will be provided and the ceremony itself will
be streamed live on the world wide web.
